A gorgeous deciduous tree with a lovely spreading habit and dark green leaves which turn yellow in autumn. During mild spells in October through to March, the branches are smothered in dark pink blossom. A wonderful choice for the smaller garden and where space is limited.
- Garden care: When planting incorporate lots of well-rotted garden compost in the planting hole and stake firmly. Prune in summer to reduce the risk of silver leaf and bacterial canker, cutting back any dead, diseased or crossing branches.
