Home care: Throughout the summer, keep the compost moist but not waterlogged. In cooler months, water less often and only when the compost is reasonably dry. Mist the leaves with water freely, especially if located near central heating. Maintain the temperature above 15°C (avoiding temperature fluctuations to mirror sub-tropical climate).
